There are many different ways to get involved with InTRANSIT:
From proposing a piece to be commissioned in our annual showcase, to volunteering to be part of our stewarding and welfare team; from attending a workshop at our summer hub, the Portobello Pavilion, to sponsoring an artwork.
We pride ourselves on being open and approachable, and treating everyone - audience, participant , funder, artist - as a valued part of our arts community.
We are local at heart, with over three quarters of our funding supporting local enterprises, but international in reach with artists, audiences and press from around the world.
Below, you can download information on volunteering or supporting InTRANSIT. The artist call for proposals for our 2018 showcase closed on 24th November. If you have submitted a proposal thank you, and we will be in touch very soon.
InTRANSIT has benefited from a huge pool of talent and support over the years. We have a reputation as being a kind of incubator for experimentation and love to follow the development of our past participants’ work, which wouldn’t be possible without the support of our funders.
