JOY AYOADE PAVILION PROJECT MANAGER CAT COMPSON PRODUCTION MANAGER HANNAH B. LAPIDUS ARTIST LIAISON

As a teenager Joy enjoyed playing in the local steel-band as a participant of the Notting Hill Carnival and the Commonwealth Institute events. Now, an advocate and participant of the InTransit Arts Festival since 2014. Enjoying the hands on creativity, meeting diverse groups and individuals within the local community and surrounding  boroughs and proclaiming the festival as one of the key events of the summer in town.

As Project Manager and Coordinator of the Portobello Pavilion 2017, she looks forward to incorporating all of her favourite artistic and social activities, meeting new creative people who delight in exploring artistic self expression to nourish mind, body and spirit. Salute!

Leaving the wilds of Hadrian's wall for London, Cat studied Production Management at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. An avid fan of site specific work, Cat's first encounter with Kensington and Chelsea was an autumn under the Westway as technical manager for Border Crossings' Plays of Love and War  during the 2016 Nour Festival. Already in love with the ample produce available along the Portobello Road during her breaks, Cat went on to spend the winter Stage Managing the Portobello Pantomime.

Cat lives just north of Kensington, in Brent, with an absent flatmate and a bearded dragon who likes trains.

American by birth and feline by spirit, Hannah relocated to London from Paris to pursue a degree in Culture, Criticism, and Curation at Central Saint Martins College of Art. Whether this was the direct result of an evening at select hostelries along the Portobello Road or not is another question...

Her work has a largely experiential and participatory focus, drawing inspiration from relational aesthetics, craft communities, and culinary traditions. Hannah’s practice is informed by a desire to democratize social experiences, introduce strangers, and just have fun. In her free time, Hannah laments her lack of free time then quickly gets back to work. She also boxes, cooks, and tends to her cacti.

NATACHA POLEDICA FESTIVAL COORDINATOR HARRY ROSS CO-CURATOR & PRODUCER HELEN SCARLETT O'NEILL CO-CURATOR & PRODUCER

Natacha is a regular at InTRANSIT. Freelance project and company stage manager with 13 years of experience managing live art and multi-media performance events for the likes of Arts Admin, Duckie, Carnesky productions, London International Festival of Theatre, SPILL and many more, she has sometimes been referred to as a coordinator extraordinaire and the queerest straight manager, although straight.  She is passionate about bringing arts closer to the people and people together, often with an impromptu DJ set. In her spare time, she likes to harass local councils for their lack of recycling rigour (present company excepted!) and bake her chocolate chilli cake over and over again. Oh, and she is French.

The first time Harry worked in Kensington and Chelsea he was at Music College, joining the chorus of Opera Holland Park's 1997 season. After college, he started directing, moving into festival production and curation as Associate Artistic Director of Italy’s Spoleto Festival in 2005. Since Returning to London in 2008 he’s specialized in site specific work, notably producing Secret Cinema until 2013. In 2010 he set up ONR with Helen Scarlett O'Neill. They now have a roster of production clients including the London Contemporary Orchestra, The National Trust and the Institute of Light. Harry is also a published poet and librettist. Outside of the arts, he  boxes, fences and spent three years serving in the British Army.  He’s co-curated and produced InTRANSIT since 2014.

Helen moved to Kensington in 2004 when she came to London to study Performance Design and Practice at Central St Martins College of Art and Design. Over a ten year career specialising in site specific works, Helen has led the design of Secret Cinema (2010-2013), immersive concert series for the London Contemporary Orchestra and special projects for the National Trust and National Archives. Helen has been collaborating with producer Harry Ross since 2010. Together, they work to help more artists make work outside of traditional spaces, creating significant experiences for first-time audiences and raising the profile of next generation practitioners.

In her spare time Helen fences, designs wallpaper patterns, and keeps up to date with video game releases.
